Meals and Naptime
Mealtimes are so important as proper nutrition is essential to growth and development in children. Ms Trezza prepares highly nutritious, tasty meals on a daily basis in her home kitchen. Some of our parents have also tasted the meals because they couldn’t believe that their otherwise fussy eaters would have their tummies full when they were picked up! These parents have said that the meals were not only healthy but delicious and some meals contained vegetables that were discreetly incorporated.
Children need food that is cooked to their liking and find certain textures easier to digest. Experience has taught us how to inculcate healthy eating so that young ones are relaxed and enjoy eating in a social environment. Every meal provided includes vegetables, meat/fish and some form of carbohydrates like rice, orzo etc. If your child has special dietary needs due to allergies, intolerance, or religion we can alter our menu to include their needs.
If you would like your child to stay with us after lunch and they are used to a nap, please let us know how long you want them to nap and we will ensure that their needs are met. We ask that parents bring in a little sleeping bag or a sheet and blanket so that we don’t share bedding. We lay out mats for children to sleep on in a separate room where they are not disturbed.
